What is with Paulie and his PED crusade? Does he feel like some of his loses should be taken back? With Pac man, I thought Paulie was trying to talk his way into a mega fight paycheck.
Here he is again. I guess it's how he vents his frustration with the sport.

I have no problem with Paulie holding that opinion.
But if he’s so passionately against drug cheats and believes all of the elite guys are on it, I have to question why he’s vocal against some and licks the arse of others?

Even if Beefy pulled out of VADA testing that doesn't mean Canelo had to pull out. And then they lied about Canelo being tested by VADA and got caught. I was su****ious but still wasn't ready to call him a cheater until there was hard proof.
But what do you mean about Canelo lying about VADA testing? When was this??
I also won't call a fighter a cheater until there's proof. Now I'm a Canelo fan but do I completely buy his tainted meat story? Of course not!
I wanna believe he's a clean fighter but he did test dirty so I won't be a hypocrite. I'm still waiting for the Nevada commission to complete it's investigation and for Canelo to speak on the matter before I pass judgement. If it turns out he did cheat intentionally then he should definitely be suspended and made to pay a huge fine.
Sad thing is we'll probably never know. Either way Canelo should be tested year round from now on and more frequently.

Hearn has no stake in either fighter, Paulie is retired, Bellew isn't in their weight class, Robert Garcia laughed at the meat defense, and it's going to keep growing unfortunately. The worst part is, some fans are taking it personally and saying some pretty nasty things to other fight fans on here with opposing opinions, and I get it--nobody wants to hear that their favorite athlete is a potential cheat. I like both of these guys, but I was reading an article from Dan Rafael today where he said the temporary suspension was a shock and it's making it sound like the fight has a better chance of NOT going forward than actually happening. He went on to site examples of Nevada putting the kibosh on past fights. The "go watch bowling, bro" comment Paulie made had me laughing, though.
The fighters, coaches, managers, know what goes on and - most of the time - who is doing it. They don't speak out because 1. they're doing it too, or 2. fear of being ostracised/sued.

Travicat nailed it
Excellent summary
In a way it's like the situation with women and sexual harassment. Everyone knew it was happening but it was hard to prove and wasn't talked about a lot. Then the damn broke and tech like Twitter made it easier for people to come forward.
There is a real change underway in boxing in terms of awareness about ped use and readiness to speak out. Pauli isn't the only one. Dissing him changes nothing.
The women all knew, the cyclists all knew, the body builders all knew, the baseball players all knew, etcetc. Insiders always know. It's just the same in boxing. They may not talk about it for obvious reasons but they know. And it is starting to be exposed.
Ps. ****** comebacks about women or Pauli change nothing.Last edited by petegrif; 03-26-2018, 04:47 AM.

Canelo has always had a very muscular physique. Of course he's gonna gain muscle since moving to the middleweight division. Those extra 6 pounds he's gained is all muscle and you can tell!
You must be one fat, greasy, sloppy bastard to think you can't gain muscle just by simply working out and eating healthy.
I know you can cause I used to be muscular like Canelo in my mid 20's and I've never took ANY supplements or PED's in my life! I just ate Alot of food and worked out like a beast. So yes it's possible to be super muscular without any PED's!
