Go to the fight with this mindset and you will be knocked out on the first right hand after being schooled by he's left

Sorry but after watching Whytes fight a few times I just don't see him stand a chance against Wilder. I see it ending real early the way Whyte comes in bringing head down hands up I just see him being dropped. Walking into something fierce.

Whyte actually looked decent for once. He should fight Ortiz or Breazeale and the winner gets Wilder.

Here are my analysis on both:
Jab - Wilder , he has a stiff Jab and is consistent with it..
Hook - Wilder, his left hook is underrated but he has a good swift hook.. Whyte has a decent hook himself..
                Uppercut - Wilder
                Straight right - Wilder
Body punches - Whyte, Wilder hardly goes to the body..
Stamina - Wilder, he has the engine to go all 12.. Whyte starts to slow down after 7-8th rounds
Footwork - Neither of them have a great footwork so I would say it's even
Chin - Neither of them have a great chin but let's say AJ is a bigger puncher than Ortiz so Whyte gets the edge

If anything Whyte throws windmills too it's just that he doesn't fall over like Wilder..

Whyte is today's Chisora.. A HW gatekeeper..

This right here tells me you arent doing video study .

No need to discuss further .

Nice. I might give Wilder chin as well, but I do think Whyte has faced overall better competition so I will just ride your bandwagon and agree.

Wilder seems to hate punching down from what I can see, and since he is a fairly tall boxer he does not appear to do a lot of body work. I do agree he is actually underrated in that as when he faces fighters close to his size he can put some nice hooks to the body. I am mostly thinking of his first fight with Stiverne back when that was a huge step up for Wilder (doesn't that seem like 2 lifetimes ago?). He took the fight out of him with some nice body shots, so like his jab we know he can do it. He sure isn't consistent, but he can do it. But Wilder is a bit of a head hunter, always looking to put his opponent out. He can fall in love with trying to end a fight and look exclusively to get the highlight reel KO, forgetting about the body entirely in long stretches.

Im not talking about Wilder .

The other poster said Whyte doesn't use body shots .Its false ,its his BEST punch .

Everything he listed is basically false so its a waste of time to discuss further . lol

Wilder basically relies on the straight right thats it . He doesn't have much else , his jab output is below average , he has no power hooks , hes not a combination puncher , doesn't get leverage punches on the inside like upper cuts unless hes forced or opposition hurt , decent body attack but hes not a close range fighter, and his footwork is rigid ,its really his best thing bc at 6'7 hes not so easy to reach when hes positioning out of range with those long arms but thats hardly skill.

Wilder is showing that with bigger athletic guys ,Washington whos NOT top 10 and Ortiz fights aren't going so easy . You dont fall behind by round 5 in easy fights , im not sure ppl understand that .

Whyte IS a top 10 guy ,to big up Wilders opposition but discard him is laughable !
