The point is that fighting "angry" is sheer ******ity at the top level. Kovalev is a great example.

        so f-kin’ true!!!!

Anywhere outside of US, ward would of had points taken away, only in US reff has to appologize for his mistakes on social media afterwards.. SmH

I think Kovalev deserved the win for sure in the first fight. Then he fought on emotion in the second fight, gassed out, and allowed Ward to bully him. That's supposed to be Killer's game. Fighting on emotion is ******. Fight on brains. Finish with emotion if the opportunity allows. Golovkin won't beat Canelo on emotion.

Oh please. Seriously, Kovalev was quitting.

If someone is hitting you in the balls, you do it back. Or see Floyd against Zab Judah. You react, sell it to the ref -- but you don't just bend over and look pathetic if someone is hitting you in the belt.

Kovalev fought emotionally, gassed, and let Ward bully him. If Golovkin does the same thing he'll get beat.

Edit: Don't get me wrong. I think Ward is pond scum and a reliably dirty fighter. But Kovalev let it happen. And that's because he didn't fight smart.

Agreed. One of the reasons I feel Klitschko doesn't get the same recognition as he probably otherwise would have had he been black.
