Duran is not Mexican. No matter how hard everyone tried to get him to say he was, he refused.
He's half Mexican but he belongs to Panima, hes Panimanian. But that Mexican blood is part of what allowed him to be great. What i mean is unless im unaware, their hasn't been anyone close to Roberto Duran since him. But I may be wrong.
From what i know, he openly says he's half Mexican, i heard he was Mexican when he said it himself on a foxsports documentary about him. I dont' know if he accepted his Mexican side when he was fighting. But maybe you can clue me in if he did or didn't.

He is not Mexican, nor is Corrales. Some boxers perfer pride over money and fans. Duran didnt like Mexicans...
Duran never said anything about Mexicans. But the Mexican in him, still makes him. His father was the one was the one who was Mexican too. He ****ed down a fine ass Panamanian women and the product was a ****in man of men that grew up to be called "hands of stone.."
