NSAC knows what they're supposed to do. WBC knows what they're supposed to do (see Povetkin, Ortiz). The problem is that Canelo is the heir to the Cinco de Mayo Weekend (Oscar, Floyd, Canelo). Vegas knows Canelo is Cash Cow. Vegas is already competing with Staples, Barclay's, and MSG! They can't afford to let Canelo start taking fights to Cali, or Texas! Cash Rules!

Unfortunately your absolutely right. *** even if he is suspended for a year who's to stop him from fighting in Mexico City come Sept.??? They can't do squat.

      I think Cheato did that???

I follow two sports, boxing and cycling, and right now this same scenario is happening in both sports. The sports two biggest names have turned out to be PEDophiles and the ban hammers can't be found underneath all of the piles of money. If this happened to any B or C level athlete the ban would have already crushed them weeks (or in cyclings case months) ago.

I like Canelo, and I was rooting for him in the 1st fight...then came the 118-110, then came the 2 positive tests. I would even buy the "contaminated" meat story, if he weren't the richest Mexican fighter in boxing, whose trainers just also happen to be butchers! I don't want to see a situation where "every" Mexican fighter is suspect, just like I don't want to see "every" Russian fighter being suspect because of Meldonium!

So you believe the tests (came back positive), but you dont belive the test results(for trace amounts)?
I think more of you are mad because no one cares about a GGG fight, if he was as big of a draw as some of you say......he would be able to carry the PPV, but WE ALL KNOW this isnt TRUE.

A single look in his eyes is enough to tell that he feels slighted, and that he believes every word – whether it turns out to be true or not."

Not only has he not really been tested, there little record on how. We know most of his test were piss, and the last time he had to make 154 he refused to be really tested at all.

So, no, Alverez has not been tested more than anyone but Floyd, which is a bad comparison anyways, since he had his own issues.
That comment feels like a straight up lie. Floyd has done usada for every fight since 2010 (or there abouts) and donaire was under year round vada testing for probably a year or two before it took off with the rest of boxing.

This mother***er better back up those claims with facts, because it sure as sht doesnt seem likely to be true to me.

I'm with you on that. I'm a die hard Canelo fan but I can't really defend him on this. If he tried cheating I hope he's banned... At the very Least he's one dumb ***.

"...two doping samples returned by Canelo Alvarez with trace amounts of the banned substance Clenbuterol "

People should stop calling this a trace amount.
Canelo's first sample was 14x the result of Contador's first sample and the second was 7x Contador's second sample. Contador claimed it was meat but he got a two year suspension.

                      "Trace amount" my ass.
