HBO actually put on a D level club fighter.....

now that wouldnt be the first time.....but given that his oppponent is a C level fighter thats a new twist...usually when they put one on at least the headliner is a somethign decent

The fact that it was two scrub foreign fighters is also a new twist.

I don't want to see squash mismatches but if they are going to go that route at least do it to boost American fighters and the American boxing scene, no?

Not Breazeale by himself but the Wilder-Breazeale fight. Don't do it! Whyte got the momentum and eye catching win on an HBO carried fight. It only makes sense for the American to face him next.

HBO was the best when they had a open door policy to all promoters and would bid for Big Fights Only instead of trying to play promoter and matchmaker like they're doing NOW

They need to go back to their old format! Only pay for the BEST FIGHTS regardless of the Promoter!

No. I am rational. I am getting extra coins for an easy fight, I am taking it. Especially if it builds momentum.

A well-paid whore is still a whore but what makes her above the others in that she is well-paid which means she will be able to leave the life quicker if she doesn't like it or begin to choose who she allows to ****. There are levels to this thing and corn-fed boy is a level below Joshua.

Al Haymon ruined HBO boxing and Game of Thrones killed it. Once HBO realized how much money they were wasting with Haymon they changed their approach. And due to the success of GOT HBO uses a lot more of their money in that.
