I just read the "feared" Browne's record... he took NINE rounds to KO Julius Long? Long was once the go-to guy to pad a man's record... even Audley Harrison laid him out in two.

Browne is the boxing equivalent of a pro wrestling jobber from back in the day. His sole purpose was to get squashed so that the opponent looks invincible.

They are reduced to putting on showcase bouts for promoters like Eddie Hearn and Kathy Duva now. Peter Nelson really dropped the ball.

Lucas Browne was awful and had no business being on those once elite airwaves. Other than to make Dillian Shyte appear like a world beater.

To be honest the whole point of getting this fight, is for HBO to strengthen their relationship with Hearn....so they can get Anthony Joshua as his contract is up with Showtime after Parker.So it may be a clever ploy.HBO just need to offer close to what Showtime offer and give dates to Matchroom Boxing USA.Then they will suddenly look good again, Canelo,Joshua and GGG.3 of the top boxers on their channel.

Super fly is their saving grace. Everything else has been mediocre. At least we get to see kovalev and bivol fight bums instead of each other doe right
