Tyson Fury, 27 yo, 24 fights, then went to Germany and beat Klitschko.
Did Wlad call Wilder out after he got the belt? At least express the desire to fight him? I remember that when he was asked about Wilder after the belt he said Wilder needed more names, did'nt even consider a fight

Wlad never called anybody out publicly, that wasn't his style. All he said to the media about it was that he wanted to fight for the WBC belt against the winner of Wilder vs Stiverne. Then after Wilder won the title, Shelly Finkel made that statement about Wilder not being ready for Wlad.

Like it said in the Bscene article, Finkel was also working closely with K2 at that time. They must have told Wlad he had to wait if he wanted to fight Wilder for the WBC, but Tyson Fury became Wlad's mando and took the other 3 belts off him.

Sure, but what happens after Wilder knocks out Whyte? It'll be back to the negotiating table with the only other relevant HW not named Joshua

Haye stayed with his belt for almost 2 years before facing Wlad, was he ducking? Or just getting ready? Less than a year after Wilder got his belt, Wlad lost his'. It's more about time than wishes

I agree, which is why I asked the question .. why should AJ have to fight Wilder next, just because Wilder says he wants it next?

Wilder only started calling for AJ to fight him after he saw AJ's purses, and his opponent's purses, going through the roof after the Wlad fight.

If he was so keen to unify the division, why didn't he ask Haymon to make AJ an offer before AJ became the cash cow of the division?

Why didn't he ask Haymon to make Parker an offer, and go for the WBO belt?

It's too late for him to start trying to call the shots now. AJ is the A side, and he'll fight Wilder when he wants to do it, not when Wilder tells him to.

Wilder vs Whyte is a 50/50 fight. Wilder will probably lose every round again and must hope for that lucky windmill to land.

Hearn doesn't actually think Whyte can be Wilder, nobody really can. They just want to put obstacles in front of Wilder so he can't fight A.J. Check my post history....I call it how I see it. Nobody honestly believe any of these fringe contenders can beat Wilder...they just don't want him fighting A.J. A boxing fan who doesn't want the best to fight the best..is anything but.

I think we are close to an agreement here. I'm not so fired to this fight happening next. I'm ok with the Whyte and Povetkin fights. The problem is the chance of Hearn signing with HBO and making this fight impossible. Anyway, I just want to see this fight happen in a year for now at max. 2020 is too far and the olympians we'll be stepping in the mix by then

The fight will definitely happen, unless one of them loses to somebody else first. Of course, Hearn would love it if Whyte fought Wilder and beat him, because he promotes both Whyte and AJ. But if AJ beats Parker he will want to fight for the WBC title, whoever is holding it.
