I think the VADA testing for the fight is a part of the WBC clean boxing program and has nothing to do with the comission perse. USADA also have nothing to do with any comission perse, when you enroll and you pop positive these anti-doping organisations can't ban and suspend you, in Canelo's case if VADA and thus the WBC wouldn't have cleared Canelo, the only thing that would happen is the WBC not sanctioning the fight, but they can't ban or unban anyone. The commision can take VADA's advice, which they did, to do a thorough investigation and if they see fit suspend a fighter or stop the fight from happening, which is the right thing to do here.

The comission normally has their own testing and that's mainly the post fight blood and urine testing, which imo is the most important test and they've always pretty strict with that and they caught a lot of fighters over the years by that post fight urine test, so them suspending Canelo based on VADA tests even though VADA and the WBC cleared Canelo is kinda odd to me especially since Canelo was caught a very long time before the fight, but it's also the right thing to do investigate this issue thoroughly.

I think the NSAC are trying to look like the good guys here but I would bet the house on them also clearing Canelo and the fight happening as planned.

If Alvarez is clean or dirty, why do we care what the alphabet soup honcho thinks? The casual fan may tune in thinking these organizations are important, but anyone following the sport closely knows these organizations care only for the coin they can get off these boxers. They will use them up and toss them aside. If Canelo Alvarez ends up being found to be completely dirty, these guys will dump him in a hot second. They are spineless moraless people.
