yeah man i undertand what your saying but to a certain point they have to talk a certain amount of ****. no one would go see a fight if the trainer said " i think we can go in and do our best my fighter is aight". So it's part of the appeal of boxing you have talk a bit of **** to get people hyped! like now i'm so ready fopr the winky fight it's ******ed!

I believe it is still Danny Smith. I know Garcia will always be a part of his team even without head duties.

no, im saying when birmingham said somthing like, "at least winky will have his brain to think" or some **** along those lines.

i belive this is a diss and slap in the face to all fighters and especially to his fighter jeff lacy. if i was lacy i'd be like, **** you, what the **** are you trying to say? Cause their no way birminham should have said that when he trains Jeff Lacy, a fighter who gets hit! and doesn't mind getting hit!

look sorry man, i just don't think the managers that took Vargas in respected him. He was fighting Back to Back Brutal Matches with top Callaber opponests with no breaks.... they ****ed him up because turning him into a cash cow. It sucks he had alot ALOT of potential but he stumbles over his words he's not as metally sharp they had an article about him on maxboxing.com. it's sad when i fighter trusts his team and they feed him to the wolves.ALA don king. now that's a ****er that should be in the ring with taylor no wait **** that TYSON!!

haha, no worries bro. He is slurring alot though and showing the effects of the beating he has taken. Even at his state now though he is still a big draw... but yah he is showing signs early signs of pugilistic dementia. I hope he retires soon.

You could be right. I have not heard of anything like that though. The pic is from the first fight.

True say man, I dunno man I just think it's part of the sport... people talk **** all the time. I don't like lacy all, the fighter that I enjoy to watch you'd laugh your ass off but it's about style I guess. He sees Jeff as a tank and the punches don't hurt him? but he got ****ed up against Joe big time. I am more worried about him saying that he would like to see Winky fight Joe so that Joe can get his... I don't think personal vendettas should have a place in boxing. 2 professional athletes go into fight and do what they love and have respect for now to go in and try to do SERIOUS damage… these are people that have lives outside of boxing, that have children and ****. Lacy got owned fair and square. I think it’s Dan’s problem he should have trained him better sorry for the run on. I agree with what your saying.

yeah i hope so too, so he can enjoy the rest of his life. he should be a trainer he has tons of heart and could really do some good for an young fighter. i think he could also learn from his experience as a fighter so that the next in line won't have there career cut short just to make a few extra bucks. I do like vargas he is a draw but it hurts to see him sometimes.
