Even the Vargas of 2000 would be outmatched.
He would need to gain the extra weight, and he would be facing a stronger, bigger guy with very good power and a weak chin.
Vargas would have to try an outbox him, which is nearly impossible with Taylor's jab, size and reach advantage.

Vargas making the weight would not have been a problem. He walks around close to 170-180lbs. But lets say this fight happened after the Quartey fight...I still give him a chance. He is strong enough to get inside and fight in close.

No. I think Taylor will win a decision and land some good shots, but Winky is too defensive minded to get stopped.
Winky will be overcome by Taylor's power, speed and athleticism.

Im now gurenting a KO in Taylors favor! Just seen a photo where Taylor is taller and though he doesn't fight tall and wont be an advantage because of taylors stance, taylors height will play perfect to see anything and everything what wright is going to do, especially if he has his glove on his face. It should be a good fight, and Vargas definitly has a good chance. If Vargas can somehow neutralize Mosley's body attack, he will win.
