says who? you? - i've said that he wants to fight Wilder but not as soon as I'd like to see it. I've also said his promoter clearly doesn't want that fight so don't expect it this year. He's just come out and said he's scared of losing. What more am i to say to that. Get off my nuts all the damn time.

Keep hiding behind Edward "Fast Eddie" Hearns, Anthony "Anyone But Deontay Wilder" Joshua!

We the REAL BOXING FANS know the truth!

You don't go from saying you're not ready for the fight, he has more experience than yoh and that your own coach said you shouldn't take the fight and it should happen in 2 or 3 years time to saying he's the easiest fight and I'm not worried about anything!

Hearns knows you won't be able to stay away from that right hand for long, Wilder is faster with longer range and uses it better than ever and with a better tank to spare and he has 12 rounds to land ONE punch that will shake your world up!

          meh. Is he wrong?

IMO, Boxing fans were waiting for the heavyweights to return. Joshua helps, but it's a rise of young heavyweights that are all hitting their prime at the same time, as well as more prospects coming up.

That and Ortiz had never lost prior to the Wilder fight. Klitschko had already lost to Fury and showed plenty of signs of slowing down; Ortiz was better in just about every aspect and presented the tougher challenge.
However, right now AJ is the man due to the belts he holds and the fact that he dethroned the previous HW king. Yes, his comments may come across as not being humble like he said he was but who cares, it's boxing, you have to show confidence in what you do and I think he's entitled to say that whether you agree with it or not. With that said, as I've said before, if he gets past Parker, he needs to fight Wilder soon. Maybe not immediately after, but soon.
I've said it before but I'll say it again. Not fighting Wilder soon, provided Wilder keeps winning, will tarnish his legacy the same way Mayweather's win over Pacquiao is seen by many as the best business fight in terms of money but questionable from a legacy perspective. What if Mayweather fought the destructive, peak version of Pacquiao that saw the latter put a beating on Hatton, Margarito and my boy, Cotto? Most experts believe the outcome would have been different, hence why no one talks about Mayweather's "great" win over Pacquiao as if it was some sort of amazing feat.
The same question will be asked of AJ. Barring an upset by Parker, AJ vs Wilder MUST happen sooner rather than later. Anything can happen in boxing, especially with the amount of power that every single heavyweight punch carries, therefore, AJ's (and DW's for that matter) train can be derailed at any given moment.
You have written well but personally the difference between Ortiz and WK is that Ortiz has never been a champion despite been undefeated. Am sure you can relate to that, you can never compare them especially in experience.
Bring back WK Vs Ortiz, I will definitely put my bet on WK with all confidence.
It is suicidal to compare a serial champion to an Ortiz that just got a chance for a title fight over his carreer.

It was Tyson Fury who ended the Klitschko era. Joshua just beat his leftovers.

Nah it didn't still no one watched the casuals only came with Joshua. The fury rematch was still struggling to sell out an arena (better than Wilder sales by far . but no where near AJ).

Tysons win was better, braver etc but AJ's win was the more exciting fight seriously I enjoyed the Tyson win (and I got flack for that) but I wouldn't watch it again.

.. and Wilder he was doing nothing , nothing until the money turned up thats why so many fans hate him.

AJ has brought the fans and the money now we need a few more new AJs to come through preferably a yank (They used to turn them out like a factory .. what happened)
