Actually Tyson Fury set the HW division free from Klitschko's dominance!! And to go even further than that he didn't get knocked down by Klitschko who was still active and not coming off a near 2 year layoff. I'm pretty sure he softened him up for you and you still almost blew it by nearly getting KO'd. Now with that said go out there next week and take care of business with Parker and keep your head on the swivel for Wilder he might get in the ring with you anyway buddy and if he does good luck with that sh** lol hahaha I'd hate to see you sh** your draws on national TV lol

Tysons win was better, braver etc but AJ's win was the more exciting fight seriously I enjoyed the Tyson win (and I got flack for that) but I wouldn't watch it again.

.. and Wilder he was doing nothing , nothing until the money turned up thats why so many fans hate him.

AJ has brought the fans and the money now we need a few more new AJs to come through preferably a yank (They used to turn them out like a factory .. what happened)
Joshua is big in the UK because he's from there. Casuals from elsewhere don't care about him.

My original point still stands. Boxing fans cared about the division again when Fury beat Wlad.

IMO, Boxing fans were waiting for the heavyweights to return. Joshua helps, but it's a rise of young heavyweights that are all hitting their prime at the same time, as well as more prospects coming up.
I think you can make the argument that AJ is wrong. You're theory seems more correct. AJ revived the Heavyweight division for European fans. but they don't really care about the division, they only care about AJ. As I have said before, AJ has only passed 300k views on showtime when he fought Klitschko. Wilder has revived Heavyweight boxing in America, constantly hitting 1 million viewers and above, and over 2 million when he was on regular tv, and that was before AJ fought Klitschko. The division is revived because there are 2 heavyweights from both sides of the globe who look to be on a collision course, and that hasn't happened in some time. Like you said, it's not revived due to only one Heavyweight.

one heavyweight is pointless, because he just fights bums lol. You need a solid 4-5, which we arent there yet but it's growing.

No matter what AJ says he gets a load of angry bitter poisonous little dregs of life making digs at him. Seriously, I think you people need to go and see a shrink because it isn't healthy hating on someone for no reason.

AJ is right, he does lead the pack. It most certainly isn't Wilder because nobody knows who he is and he can't even sell a full house back home in Alabama.

AJ apologists sure have been busy lately. Must be exhausting to constantly have to make excuses for the ****** things he says.
The revival of the division was a culmination of a number of things, including promising fighters like AJ, Wilder, Ortiz, but the most significant factor was Fury beating Klitschko. Like him or not, people should be honest acknowledge the truth.

That and Ortiz had never lost prior to the Wilder fight. Klitschko had already lost to Fury and showed plenty of signs of slowing down; Ortiz was better in just about every aspect and presented the tougher challenge.
However, right now AJ is the man due to the belts he holds and the fact that he dethroned the previous HW king. Yes, his comments may come across as not being humble like he said he was but who cares, it's boxing, you have to show confidence in what you do and I think he's entitled to say that whether you agree with it or not. With that said, as I've said before, if he gets past Parker, he needs to fight Wilder soon. Maybe not immediately after, but soon.
I've said it before but I'll say it again. Not fighting Wilder soon, provided Wilder keeps winning, will tarnish his legacy the same way Mayweather's win over Pacquiao is seen by many as the best business fight in terms of money but questionable from a legacy perspective. What if Mayweather fought the destructive, peak version of Pacquiao that saw the latter put a beating on Hatton, Margarito and my boy, Cotto? Most experts believe the outcome would have been different, hence why no one talks about Mayweather's "great" win over Pacquiao as if it was some sort of amazing feat.
The same question will be asked of AJ. Barring an upset by Parker, AJ vs Wilder MUST happen sooner rather than later. Anything can happen in boxing, especially with the amount of power that every single heavyweight punch carries, therefore, AJ's (and DW's for that matter) train can be derailed at any given moment.
There is nothing to say if you believe Ortiz was a tougher challenge. He didn't come close. Tells you everything you need to know when his biggest win is that dud Jennings.

Everything about him was overrated... Chin, power and stamina were all ****. But he still managed to nearly get Wilder out of there.

                AJ does lead the pack.

When did he duck Wilder you clown? When Wilder refused to fight unless he got half of the money?

There is only one coward here and it sure isn't AJ.

Fury put on a braver performance than AJ did against Wlad? Said no one ever.

What planet are you actually on? Fury barely threw any punches and was too concerned with getting caught to really mount any real offence. He threw nothing but "keep away from me" punches. There was zero braveness about it.

Because the ****** things AJ says? And you defend that walking calamity Wilder who says nothing but hilarious moronic things pretty much every time he opens his mouth?

Ortiz did less than zero for the heavyweight division. But I know why you want to talk him up considering he's the only worthwhile opponent on Wilder's resume.
