There were better fights out there that Golovkin could've easily pushed for, but he was simply set on chasing a payday, and that's been his mo since he missed out on being paid by Universum.

Cry about the style matchup all you want, Erislandy Lara and Demetrius Andrade were both sitting around, in need of good fights, when Golovkin and his camp cherry picked Gabriel Rosado to have his first fight at middleweight for Golovkin's paper belt (and even that didn't go smooth).

He fought a welterweight for ****'s sake (and even that didn't go smooth).

Hindsight will be what it is, but Golovkin is finally being shown for the fighter that he and his camp tried to hide for as long as they did; you put him in with a fighter with any kind of boxing craft and some confidence and Golovkin ends up looking ordinary.

How do folks justify the fact that he's defended his interim belt all of 17 times, yet you can only point to maybe 3 of those defenses where he was in with a middleweight worth fighting?

The truth is Canelo is PED cheat Vegas protected Golden Boy cash cow and he get a gift draw in a fight where 90% of pro boxers for exemple thought he widely lost (Malignaggi, Crawford, JMM, Badou Jack, Jacobs, Quillin, Saunders)
Agree or disagree on the official outcome, Jacobs was a 7-5 fight, Alvarez was a 7-5 fight, and even Kell Brook was able to box Golovkin pretty much even until the eye completely went. The second fight will likely happen in a couple months time, but even now, we're likely talking about another 7-5 fight if Alvarez's stamina fails him again.

You put Billy Joe Saunders in there with Golovkin, based on what we've seen him show against folks worth fighting, and it's a quite likely possibility that he could end up getting skunked in that fight.

Alvarez was popped for trace amounts of the substance nearly a full actual fight camp removed the actual fight. If you want to hang on that, so be it

saunders hasnt looked all that good lol, he lived off that eubank win for a long time and that looks way less impressive considering groves did a far better number on eubank. with his style as long as he avoided getting tagged he was always going to be able to outbox lemiuex. i dont think hes on golovkin (or canelos) level

TS is counting Brook as "beating a world champion"???? I can't wrap my head around that kind of ******ity. The guy jumped 2 divisions for the first time ever and never returned. He was not a world champ at 160 or even the division below it.

When you have to lie to try to make a point, that should tell you that you were wrong to begin with.

Actually he looks like a race baiter. My non bias opinion makes more sense.

Huh so because he has fought professionally that means our opinions don't mean ****, that's like me saying because i did two combat tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan only my opinion counts when it comes to war fighters and no one else does.

                Pretty ****** logic.

Being a combat veteran your opinion toward combat veteran matters should be viewed with greater acceptance than my opinion - a layperson without military combat experience.

Similarly a professional boxer's opinion about another professional boxer is considered more valuable than an armchair boxer's opinion.

For example, Larry Merchant and Harold Lederman know nothing about boxing. I'm not just paraphrasing Floyd - those two old fools literally know nothing.

Not to mention that Broner wasn't from Zimbabwe, but from America. American fighters used to have special push, but now it's turning to Eastern Europeans because many American and world boxing fans like the idea of a dominant white boxer more than a black one.
I'm not sure about that, Joshua seems to be more popular worldwide or in the US than Klit has been as a dominant figure.

People sure don't like garbage idiots throwing dollars away in a night club and getting convicted for women assault like Broner or Floyd, and this is not related to their colour IMO.
