By far the worst thing that could ever happen to Canelo's career. I think his career and reputation have now taken a major hit that will badly influence his popularity until he retires. I'm positive that the fight will go on however since there's a lot of money on the line. I just don't understand why it's taking the commision so damn long to decide, the negative results were from February, the anti doping institute and the WBC said their piece, why does the commision need this long? April 10th is less than a month before the fight and you can't get a replacement that quick.

I don't think Billy Joe Saunders can get in shape that quick to fight GGG in May even if he starts training now and GGG can't just start training for a world class southpaw like Saunders 3 weeks before the fight.

Of course the fight is off ......no fighter can prepare mentally with this hanging over there head.
As for NSAC they met up with loefler friday and maybe they were shown the evidence golovkin spoke about doubled up with the huge levels of clenbuterol in canelos 1st failed test.
The fight should be cancelled and canelo banned...a cheat is a cheat and they should not be rewarded with multi million fight purses.....as for oscar i bet he hit the bottle and face deep in that colombian nose powder as we speak lol

hair sample allows them to effectively check his system months back, pretty easy to understand, it allows you to pop for weed for 3 months longer than a piss or blood test

- not everything is going to show up in hair. Only certain drugs do and only under certain circumstances, and it's not particularly sensitive
- you can get a hair cut.

A hair test isn't some magical fix all that will be able to tell whether or not someone has doped, otherwise they'd obviously already be using it in tests all over the world.

Please, This,sounds more like a bogus suspension..We still have to see cause the card has not been suspended. They still have a meeting scheduled on which Canelo does not even have to attend, he can just call. This seems more an act by the Nevada Commission to say that they did something about it. when they have not done anything until now and I have the feeling that they will not do anything and everything will stay the same

Maybe is you stayed disciplined and didn't ballooned up to 185-190, you wouldn't need to go through drastic measures to loose weight and gain mussel mass.

I'm not sure why so many are quick to assume the fight will be off. There's an investigation with a known and plausible defense to the findings.

Those calling the fight to be off fear these "peds" will somehow work and get GGG knocked out. Shouldn't redemption be on your agenda instead of calling it quit?
