Problem is that it's too much attitude and nothing more than a fringe belt. Saunders is not a draw, and the way he fought Lemieux certainly didn't win any fans.

Considering Saunders style and lack of appeal I question why would anyone would fight him at all, even as a backup?

Are you serious? He was the real matrix against Lemieux. The best performance I've seen from any boxer for awhile.

My concern is he might've gotten too comfortable after the Lemieux fight.
