Showtime wasnt going to settle for unranked irrelevant fight to broadcast a HW champion , he could have fought Whyte when Stiverne was a mandatory last year but dragged that out for 7 months , Wilder didnt fight anyone he wasted over a half year on twitter prior to accepting an Ortiz fight turned Stiverne rematch .


Whyte is the number ONE ranked guy in Wilders OWN sanctioning body ,its irrelevant fight though ? Hearn doesn't think Whyte can defeat Wilder ,he wouldn't risk a fight of that magnitude of Wilder vs Joshua he wont see again .

Only an idiot thinks Hearn is trying to offset that fight . After the Ortiz scare hes going to push that fight which is why hes INVITING Wilder to be a commentator at the Joshua fight. The fight happening next all depends on Wilder NOT Hearn who doesn't make the calls ,its Joshua !

But on the real, Browne looked like absolute garbage. In between rounds Whyte wasn't on his stool. He was going around looking for the kitchen sink, because he hit him with EVERYTHING else. Couldn't miss. The dude looked fat, out of shape, zero defense...

This was not a testament of how much Whyte has improved. He may have improved and he did what he was supposed to do, but Browne looked absolutely horrendous, you must agree.
