I've heard it goes back 3 months and I've heard it goes back 6 months. Either way, like you said, they could know. Why don't they take absolute steps to knowing?

What I'm loving about this situation, is they just keep saying, "Oh we're investigating. Still investigating" hoping that people will move onto something else and forget about it, but this fight is so huge, that fight fans are keeping the conversation active in daily chatter and not letting it get swept under the proverbial rug.

Given the controversy that surrounds this situation if they truly wanted an answer to what was in Canelo’s body in the leading up to him starting camp, they could know.

All this ‘we are investigating’ doesn’t really sit with me...I honestly believe that these huge commissions and governing bodies etc can and could find the answers as simply as hair and/or lie detectors, as some have mentioned.

    But they won’t.

You can’t trust the men behind the curtains in this game, we all know full well that after this fight we will hear “we investigated and can’t/don’t believe Canelo stands on grounds worth a ban” etc. They’ll tell us they had a look and didn’t see much, and that will be that. This sport is corrupt as sin and it goes way above promoters and managers.

Canelo should have his hair tested. And Golovkin for that matter. Iron out every wrinkle, answer everything with that type of test, but no.

Absolutely. They could get to the bottom of this, publish top and bottom of the facts and deal with Canelo as perfectly suitably as the result of an actual investigation would deserve. This much is fact. This could 100% be dealt with precisely how it should be, but this is boxing and as you alluded too, the water will continue to be clouded until one day they hope we stop trying to drink it.

“It will be investigated”. Words like that carry about as much weight as a balloon from people like this.

Justice won’t be attempted to be reached, it will be attempted to be swerved and moved on from. To deny that Canelo and his handling isn’t corrupt as sin at this moment is insane to me. It’s pantomime, it’s theatre. There isn’t going to be an extensive investigation, we are just gonna get told it’s all fine.

Like a cop stood in front of the tape at a crime scene telling you there’s nothing to see so move along. There’s definitely something going on as evidenced by the set up, just because an authority figure tells you to act as though it hasn’t, doesn’t mean it hasn’t. What the cop really means is ‘it doesn’t concern you, so go away’.

      Same thing here basically.

Huge controversy behind the scenes but hey, there’s fights to be had so let’s just be quiet and watch from our distance and not ask questions , coz that’s what they want after all so that’s what they’ll try and make us do because they know most of us will.

I'm backing Golovkin as should any legitimate fan of the sport whether you like him or not. Backing a person who failed any kind of drug test only shows your personal gripe and personal issues with his opponent. As has been pointed out to you, if Golovkin had failed that test you'd be screaming for his head but since you don't like him you'll of course be cool with Canelo coming to the ring with an AR15 and sticks of dynamite if it meant you got the pleasure of seeing Golovkin lose. That last statement should tell you exactly what the general consensus is about your "hate of the man"

Screw that, why let GGG miss a chance to feed his family again?

            Just keep speaking about it!

Teach Carnelo a can of a$$ whooping lesson and ALL the others who cheats, make a brutal example out of him and give him the elephant man face!

Golovkin has the power to end him, he was just off target with his shots cuz Alvaroidz is faster and actually didn't show cement feet for once!

GGG knows he can't simply outpoint Canelo with single shots and more punches!

He had to triple the punches and triple double the shots!

            Also roughhousing

Whether he’s guilty or innocent, I’m just glad people are keeping the conversation going.

yeah you are right i can't say that s*** and not expect a little backlash. In all honesty a draw wasn't that far fetched. I just had it 7-5 GGG.

GGG is a crybaby now??? He has never been one. He seems to be really unsure of beating Canelo. If GGG has doubts because of a piece of meat, he should pull off from the fight and fight Benavidez or Zurdo, it´s his turn to move up in weight, Canelo did.
