I agree on this. I’m pretty sure hair testing shows up to around 90 days doesn’t it? That’s three months. The amount of money being spun they can afford to test his hair. Given the controversy that surrounds this situation if they truly wanted an answer to what was in Canelo’s body in the leading up to him starting camp, they could know.
All this ‘we are investigating’ doesn’t really sit with me...I honestly believe that these huge commissions and governing bodies etc can and could find the answers as simply as hair and/or lie detectors, as some have mentioned.
But they won’t.
You can’t trust the men behind the curtains in this game, we all know full well that after this fight we will hear “we investigated and can’t/don’t believe Canelo stands on grounds worth a ban” etc. They’ll tell us they had a look and didn’t see much, and that will be that. This sport is corrupt as sin and it goes way above promoters and managers.
Canelo should have his hair tested. And Golovkin for that matter. Iron out every wrinkle, answer everything with that type of test, but no.
