Both are universally known in the boxing world and have a good amount of reach into the sports/non-sports world, both can promo the fight in English everywhere, both are big punchers, it's Heavyweight boxing, and it'd be for the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world.

Doubt the potential event if you want.

And I hate this two fight deal bs. Quite often a two fight deal doesn't make sense cuz the first fight decides things. I say just make one fight. In the UK or get full value if you gotta travel. Then if Wilder wins they can just make a new deal.

Joshua is & should be the favorite here. I think he gives away more trying to make this a two fight deal then he gains cuz he's likely to win anyway. If he loses it mighta been better to do a two fight deal, but you also take on some risk with how this business works.
Pretty much. If everyone was reasonable, you'd negotiate the first fight to where the biggest piece gets generated, with a handshake between the camps to talk a second fight if things make sense.

Still, above everything, I wanna see the fight, however they have to get there.

can anyone actually make an arguement for this to happen in vegas?

as much as i would like it to happen, i don't see casinos outbidding the UK which is where the money is.

Vegas had its time this is the world stage now there is no option 20 thousand fans Vegas or 90 thousand UK. Joshua has at the whole division queuing up to fight him as your guaranteed a bid payday for now.

Wilder needs to wake up before he gets frozen out, is Whyte his next mandatory?

                  65% 35% seems reasonable. Or 40%.
Once wilder beats josh, then in rematch josh can get 30%

This has all been a long and protracted thing and up until now I'd say due to Wilders side. His promoter situation is confusing, Hearn's talked with varying different people, it's just a mess.

Deontay was saying 50-50, for ages.

Now he's saying 60-40 to AJ, and the winner getting the 60 in the rematch.

I think that's about what he's said in the media at least !?!

So, that's not really far off. Parker settled for 33% or something, he has one belt, and is less of a draw.

So 40% is the right ball park in fairness to Wilder now.

                      At least that's doable.

The fight will happen in the next 12 months. Which when you consider HW careers, these 2 will likely fight another 8+ years. It's reasonable to build it a bit.

If AJ pummel him this year, the same people will be complaining next year that HW's dead, and no exciting fight prospects.

Well, it's all part of a big game, chess pieces, building, and spreading out the big fights.

As long as it happens within 12 months I don't really give a crap. Most American fans weren't convinced on Wilder at all up until the last year or so. Now everyone seems to have bought into him and saying AJ's avoiding him. Na. It'll happen kids. Chill out.
