Hearn loves this stuff though so i bet inside he wants a bit of a WWE face off.
Joshua doesn't have to be "into that stuff" to accomodate the buildup of the BIGGEST heavyweight fight in years! This isn't about etiquette, formality, Prince Harry or Joshua and his tender feathery emotional feelings - this is about a SPORT thats OVER a hundred yrs old comprising of opponents that have been bumrushing rings for YEARS - for the sole purpose of NOT BEING IGNORED by slick promoters & their fighters!

Again, Hearn & Joshua will IGNORE Team Wilder to NO END if they stay quiet in all of this.....they simply hope & wish for Wilder to SHUT UP and go away - at least till he turns 36/37. AJ is doing the hostage move on the belts, with little regard to the other player who has EARNED the right to ENTER the ring after the fight!

Parker wouldnt have a problem with the WWE move - its boxing a form of entertainment AND its also a BUSINESS MOVE for the IGNORED party......If Hearn & Josh would stop with the deception & simply say they are not ready, then all this wouldn't be necessary.

Joshua can see a shrink afterwards if his selfish tender emotional stability comes unhinged - but he MUST accommodate the "other" champ until ALL is settled....awwww poor AJ wants to ride off into the sunset with no emotional strain because he's "not into hype.....".Sorry, that'll NEVER be the case - this is boxing.

        Anyone.
Your question is pointless and ******. They don’t have to have the fight signed. Wilder-AJ is the fight everybody wants to see. And with AJ being the bigger draw, he could get that fight made in about five minutes if he wants it. But all indications point to he and his team not wanting it. At least not in his next fight after Parker.

          Slow clap....

Big fights get made, especially when the A side wants it. Same fans defending Hearn and Joshua were going after DLH and Alvarez.

          • For the record, I don’t really have a lot of interest in seeing Wilder jump in the ring and confront/call AJ out. I’m a veteran fight fan. That stuff is pointless and boring to me. Most of it is fake. And on a personal level, I never see it. Because I change the channel after the final result is announced if it goes the cards. Or when the ref waves his arms after a KO. That said, Team AJ is trying to avoid a 2018 clash with Wilder. It sux. But it kinda is what it is at this point. Hope neither loses before the fight happens. Because this is a fight that boxing absolutely needs.

              • Who was it on here who was saying last week that Wilder didn't need Hearn's say-so to get in the ring, and will do so if he chooses to? No chance that happens.

                • AJ will have just been in a fight and his blood will be pumping. He might clock Wilder if he gets in his face.

                  • If the Wilder/Joshua fight doesn't get made soon, then the only way I see Wilder getting the chance to fight Joshua is to vacate his belt and become Joshua's mandatory. Its sad and it may have to come down to this. If Wilder vacated,I bet Joshua and Hearn would quickly swipe up the WBC belt and claim undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.

                    • imagine if Wilder did this to Joshua... u all would have a field day but now ur defending this, even if the fight isn't next its great for a promotion.. u all were the same ones saying Wilder needs to fight D Whyte in the UK so that he can become more popular in the UK and the fight can be bigger in the future but now look at you all.... u guys are phony
