Caneloterol is a well known boxer and he will be a perfect example that banned substances are seriously being eliminated in boxing whoever is the offender. Banning Caneloterol will be known to wide audience and will become a deterrent to future abusers.

BTW Nery got a lifetime ban from JBC. It's a shame... For Vargas, I think he got tested more frequently. IMO Vargas should got a ban too...

This is what happens when you fail a drug test guys... small time fighters on the come up can use the meat thing as an excuse, but on Canelo's level, there's really no excuse to not start paying attention to what you're eating a month or two out from camp starting.

This is a similar thing to the Pacquiao situation... Pac knowingly refused testing and had to deal with people questioning him the rest of his career... Canelo knowingly took the risk of being careless about what he was eating (or injecting, we'll never know), and now he has to pay the price of people calling him a cheat.

Steroid or not. Clen is a banned substance in all sports. If you take a banned substance, it's illegal. If you do something illegal, it's cheating. No way around it.

Modafanil, bumetanide, nadalol - are all illegal and banned substances that are illegal everywhere. And none of those are anabolic steroids. Those are stimulants and masking agents. There are more ways to cheat than just through the prototypical "steroid". There's a reason over 160 substances are prohibited all around the globe - whether it's an anabolic steroid, diuretic, hormonal stimulating agent, or even a narcotic.

A banned substance is a banned substance. There should be no levels to the banned substance in terms of severity. Treat all banned substances the same, and there won't be ANY questions and there certainly won't be anybody taking advantage of the commissions inconsistencies as far as following their own bylaws and dishing out punishments based on them.
