What part of this quote gives people the impression Golovkin can just pull out of this fight with zero repercussions? Seriously, do people think GBP wouldn't enforce that contract? The only way out of this fight is if the main promoter (GBP), the network (HBO), or NSAC cancels the fight. The contract isn't voided by a failed test because no action has been taken against the fighter who failed the test.

Yup he did for boxers cutting weight but Canelo had low traces and 3 months before he needed to make weight for a fight. Which is why in the same quote he says he believes it was contaminated meat.
