And before anyone says, Tennis sucks. Keep in mind Tennis is the 3rd most popular sport behind soccer and basketball in the world.

Messi should be higher as well since he is the best player for a long time in the most popular sport. Bolt should be higher as well i think.

Floyd is good where is at I think, as I think he cherry picked wayyy too much! Such as fighting MacGregor rather than a real challenge in GGG.

Outside of the US, who cares about Brady, Johnson and Peyton. I am sure other countries with their unique sports have their dominate stars too such as ping pong, cricket, rugby etc.

      where do I start

Mayweather/Golovkin, at ANY point..... is a fantasy match-up

using that as any type of justification for anything, is flawed logic

when did Messi offer to fight Golovkin?..... or do anything even remotely close?

Mayweather was the best fighter in 2 divisions simultaneously

Messi may not even be the best player in the world

Messi had a bunch of teammates helping him out

      Messi is not undefeated

I get that you like football

I just realized that I fkn hate this ridiculous awful list

      I'm out..... have fun all

The only reason he's on here is because of the teams and coach he's had around him and they managed to win 5 rings, nothing Brady done single-handedly gets him on this list
Your argument would work if they didn't have a 3 year retired, two time Superbowl winning Peyton Manning at 3.

We might have to start thinking of adding Jeff Horn if he knocks out "delay delay" Terence Crawford as well

My azz only last 20 minutes, most of that was spent destroying the grass with my swing. Golf isn't a sport where you get much love, he forced mofo's to love him without saying it he ran into the sports and quietly said "i'm gonna fk ya'll til ya'll love me" and while yes punches coming back your way adds another element that's not in golf, golf isn't just about hitting that ball either.
I agree Tiger had an incredible run. He should be high on the list. The list is to cover the last 20 years. 8 of those years was terrible for Tiger. Maybe if he had 1 or 2 good years since his run it would make more sense to me. I think you can make the same case for Serena Williams who dominated women's tennis for about 16 years. What she did in the 2012 Olympics was unbelievable.

Same argument goes for Peyton, no qb should even be on this list

I actually hate Football haha. Can't stand games that are 0-0 or you cant use your hands. I just respect the best player in the most popular sport.

Being the best at Football means you are insanely talented, whereas being talented at Boxing, means you are good, but I dont have ONE friend ever that has ever tried it much less competed. So a lot less competition to be the best when a lot less people ever do the sport. And Messi has been the best for a while.

Being undefeated in Boxing isn't what it used to be. I gave ONE example of Mayweather cherrypicking. I think he was a huge cherry picker but that's my opinion. See Tank on how he manages careers. See Loma on how you should manage careers (if you want to be considered a GOAT imo).

Messi and/or Ronaldo should be higher. I don't think ESPN are on the footy ****wagon as such though as they did a list not so long ago about dominant teams, and the Guardiola Barca team weren't mentioned. Neither were the all conquering recent Spanish national side.

You mentioned that it was difficult. That doesn't mean much. So is darts. It's a glorified pub game played outdoors by old fat people.

The biggest issue I have with the sport is the parity. Unless someone has a good couple days, you can't distinguish the best guy from the 25th ranked guy.
