Problem is...this is in the past 20 years..not the last five. What tiger did was nearly historically the best run of any golfer in the sport ever. That's pretty monumental.

some sports are much harder to dominate than others

e.g. boxing is a much more difficult sport than golf..... but I would suggest that golf could be much harder to dominate

Woods run was unbelievable, he was unstoppable..... other TOP golfers must have been like, wtf?
I'm trying to tell these people. It's not just gravity but also the elements he has to battle against and he was still running away with tournaments. I think he's second behind Palmer in terms of runs historically in that sport.

        Hard to disagree.

I would say he's at some advantage of looking more dominant than others. other sports play seasons, tours etc..and so they play weekly or even more frequent, so even the best take their fair share of losses due to the nature of their sport. Floyd fought once or twice a year, so it's easier to give the illusion of being more dominant over the sport.

I think he's rightly placed at the top though. He was right at the top of his sport for a long time.

I'd say Roger Federer is similar to Floyd in the sense that they have been near the top for a long time and even when they got older they could still perform to a very high standard. Federer had rivals like Djokovic and Nadal though who were no.1 ahead of him plenty of times, so he didn't dominate his sport.

No I think they understand that the qb is the most important position on offense and at the same time kinda an overrated position, think about the qb job is to give the ball to a teammate so he can score if Brady was actually a dominant player he would keep the ball and score himself. The only reason he's on here is because of the teams and coach he's had around him and they managed to win 5 rings, nothing Brady done single-handedly gets him on this list

It's honestly probably more like 8. So for 40 % of the time measured he was Irrelevant. I don't care how good the other 12 years of dominance were you can't subjectively put him over people that were consistently great with little to no drop off.

Lets put it this way..what tiger woods did with a golf club is the equivalent of a fighter knocking out the entire p4p list, taking a break coming back and knocking them out a second time. Don't believe me? Let me know what state you live in, I will buy you a gift certificate for you to try golfing and perhaps you'll get it. My azz only last 20 minutes, most of that was spent destroying the grass with my swing. Golf isn't a sport where you get much love, he forced mofo's to love him without saying it he ran into the sports and quietly said "i'm gonna fk ya'll til ya'll love me" and while yes punches coming back your way adds another element that's not in golf, golf isn't just about hitting that ball either.

I can't even stand Brady but I believe he should atleast be above Payton Manning and he's way too high. I'm sorry but Pacquiao is also too high. ESPN always does terrible with these lists. It's almost like they do it so people could get mad and talk about it.
No qb should be on this list, there job is to give the ball to a playmaker so he can score(if you're a dominant player keep the ball)there is nothing Peyton or Brady do single-handedly on a football field to get them on this list, but here in America the qb is treated like an American Hero so of course they would be on here.Qb is the most important position on offense and at the same time kinda overrated

                    same with Federer

not really arguing with you, just pointing out how silly that list is

Federer should be #1 by far imo. He has destroyed all of the tennis records and STILL GOING, whereas Tiger still is far behind Jack and ****** for 6 years.

And before anyone says, Tennis sucks. Keep in mind Tennis is the 3rd most popular sport behind soccer and basketball in the world.

Messi should be higher as well since he is the best player for a long time in the most popular sport. Bolt should be higher as well i think.

Floyd is good where is at I think, as I think he cherry picked wayyy too much! Such as fighting MacGregor rather than a real challenge in GGG.

Outside of the US, who cares about Brady, Johnson and Peyton. I am sure other countries with their unique sports have their dominate stars too such as ping pong, cricket, rugby etc.

Any sport that requires you to spend 100 dollars to play, isn't a sport that the masses can play, and I don't think belongs on the list imo.

I'd also put auto racing as a sport that shouldn't be on that list. Anyone have a few million to drive a car? I sure dont.
