  • Is Crawford vs Mikey Garcia PPV worthy at any point???

His trainer aka his brother of Mikey said they will fight once it becomes huge and they both can make 10 million dollars a piece. Do you think at any point this fight will be PPV worthy to the point where they both get 10 million each? What do you think?

If they fought now, it’d be similiar to Ward-Kovalev in the sense the hardcore fans would but it bot the casual fan base would show little to no interest, in the future they both have the potential to be superstars but obviously need the right opponents, matchmaking, marketing etc to make them into big PPV attractions

Only to boxing fans unfortunately. It won't bring in the casuals. Good fight though.

Good assessment and I agree. I think if Garcia unified 140 and Bud did too @147 thatd have boxing fans salivating for it. But If Garcia moved up after unifying and beat a guy like DSG b4 Bud, hell yeah, I think itd boost Mikeys name! Bud just has to keep winning dominantly and maybe add a lil WWE theatrics to it and I could see it. Maybe Cinco de Mayo 2020

I just watched Sicario 2 nights ago, man it was a really good movie. Del Toro is a very underrated actor. That cool calm and collected character he plays is legit.

Yeah good point they both need to establish dominance in their own division’s before eventually coming together for some kind of super fight.
For the fight to become plausible it needs to be for big money as well cause we all know Arum and the Garcia’s will be reluctant to ever work with one another again.

$10M a piece lol. I mean fair play to have goals & dream & its not like crazier sh^t ain't happened, but I'd bet against it being THAT big.

I think it being a PPV is possible, but Crawford is gonna need Arum to make the fights vs the Spence's & Thurman's at 147 & Mikey is gonna need to beat a Loma or some of these 147 players himself & idk if thats likely. And I don't know that It'll be huge unless all those things happen & both are still undefeated or have some epic fight L that keeps them in the hearts & minds of fans.

Plus at those numbers it'd have to do 1M buys just to break even so it'd probably need to look like a 1.2M-1.5M+ buy fight for a promoter to wanna pay them that much.

Right now, other than Canelo, I don't see any current fighters who can carry a ppv. Seems like these guys are not willing to put in the work necessary to build a ppv audience, they think it just happens.

That said, I'd pay for it.
