10-1 is silly. 5-1 is more appropriate.

Conor fights on his feet. I know; against Floyd you think he'll grapple. And he should. But what if he doesn't? Think about it: what if Conor tried stand up game again now that he's got gloves that favor him?

That's the catch. If Conor's pride gets in the way, you might see Floyd pull off an upset.

I wouldn't count Mayweather out in this fight. We've seen quite a few amateur boxers (to include McGregor) go on to do well in MMA. Mayweather is far from an amateur boxer so I expect him to do well.

Anyone who knows anything about MMA (which apparently does not include many boxing fans) knows that MW has absolutely NO chance.

A) the ground
If pretty much any trained MMA fighter, let alone someone like McG, takes a boxer to the ground it's over.

B) kicks
You can't fight an MMA fighter in a boxer stance. The leg positioning means that you have no defense against leg kicks. If those kicks land and you don't know how to check them it won't be long before you can't walk.

I suppose if you are being optimistic you can give MW a punchers chance but that's all he's got.

mayweather not going through with this unless his guarantee is huge. He going to need another $100 million guarantee, I dont see Dana white wanting to give it to him.

Conor took mayweather's shots very well, that was the biggest surprise of that fight for me. Mayweather punched him at will for 10 rounds before stopping him on accumulation and conor's exhaustion. Mayweather has NO chance to beat conor in MMA, he is just going to get submitted. Their last fight tells us even if Mayweather lands his biggest hail mary, conor will just eat it and tackle and submit him.

Thats not necessarily true, i am one of floyds biggest haters but mma gloves are 3x smaller than boxing gloves. Floyds hardest punch might knock mcgregor out cold with mma gloves. Mayweather has a punchers chance

I agree with this but typically with the fear of being taken down, choked and kicked, etc.... boxers tend not to put everything they have on punches in MMA....at least if they are smart.

A good example of what you are talking about is when Ray Mercer slept Tim Sylvia with one shot. Of course Sylvia was trash lol
