Sounds about right, after Parker's last couple fights and Joshua's last couple. Before seeing those fights, I would have given Parker a much better chance.

Because Parker has no chance of getting a decision, his only chance is by KO. AJ can win via legit decision, robbery, legit KO, or just flurry on JP on the ropes and he'll get a BS premature stoppage, he doesnt even need to land any punches, just look at his last fight
Therefore AJ has 4 ways to win, Parker has 1.

Eh i'll put up a hundred bucks on Parker, at 7 to 1 odds I don't mind losing the money if it doesn't unfold the way of my bet. If I win that's a nice night out.

That would be closer to what the odds should actually be , ppl are severely delusional if they cant see a 7 to 1 under dog is actually generous .

5dimes has Joshua at -900 (9 to 1 favorite) and Parker at +600 (6 to 1 underdog). Over/Under is 8.5 rounds at +155/-175. Those numbers are low for the O/U for it to be realistic from a public perception pov. +250 and up is when you start thinking it might not go past 8. Well, at least public perception is indicating that. But I think the odds makers set the rounds. I would have to look at AJ's betting history to see if these numbers match.

Just to put these numbers in perspective, Pacquiao was -800 against Clottey.

Parker needs a knockout to win over there. No way he's going to take that belt via decision.

Yeah, i'd never put money on a non-uk fighter getting a decision over the hometown favorite. I'm betting on the KO if I am betting at all. Very very and I mean very SLIM chance of it happening but it makes it more compelling to watch.

It sucks to be honest sometimes, especially since Parker seems like a nice guy, but he is ****ing dogshet. It says a lot about the state of the HW division when he has a belt.

Yaaaaaawn if they weren't called 'heavyweights' no-one would pay attention to them. Bunch of slow, plodding, robotic and (in some cases) fat bums.

I think you meant Clottey was +800 against Pacquiao. I don't think he was the favorite.
