Surprised more people aren't seeing this as a mismatch. Browne isn't ready.

Style wise and length wise Kovalev is at a disadvantage? GTFOH. You DKSAB if that's honestly what you think. They are the same height and Browne has a slight reach advantage. Big deal. Kovalev is the better proven boxer and puncher. He's a mid range guy who sets people up with his solid jab. Browne better hope he gets a lot better overnight if he has a chance against the Krusher. If Browne tries to fight, Sergey ices him. If he runs, Sergey will stop him late or should win an easy decision.

Stop crying like a bias little whiny baby. Barrera didn't want any and got smoked by Bivol instead. It's not Kovalev's fault people are scared of him.

I think you're way off. There's nothing in Browne's past fights that says he can deal with a motivated, properly trained Kovalev who isn't on the sauce during camp. Timing beats speed and Kovalev has way more proven power than Browne. Kovalev's jab is far superior.

Yea from my understanding he could have fought either.I think more money and MAYBE the fact Betebieve has some promoter issues.

He was exhausted after 6 rounds with Igor Mikhalkin, for reference. All indications were that Browne's team was going to pick Beterbiev, but then they saw how Kovalev looked vs the southpaw Mikhalkin, and immediately changed direction. I predicted this would happen right after I saw that fight. Haymon boxers always peak the weakest link. Stevenson was already taken (with Jack), so that left Kovalev. I know it sounds weird to say but we have to stop judging him on how he was 4 years ago. Outside of the Shabbransky fight which ended too soon to tell anything, every other fight Kovalev has had the last 3 years, he has gassed badly within the first HALF of the fight. He is simply not the same P4P boxer anymore. He still has P4P skills and power, but only for a few rounds. He's not a 12 round fighter anymore. I think it would be a struggle for him to go 12 rounds on the pads at this stage, let alone in the ring vs another boxer.
Well we will just have to agree to disagree because I really think Kov is the tougher out.Im not impressed a real lot by Beterbieve at least yet. What I see he better have "O My God Power"because he looks slow with little defence and his offence is not as varied as Kov.And don't think Kov has dropped of that much if any.He did not looked gassed to me in last fight he just had a guy who had a decent chin but he won every round and got him outta there. And might not have been to up for that guy either.

I agree about the money part we will just have to agree to disagree on other.Im not sold on Beterbieve yet.And Kov don't look like he has lost much if any.We will know more on that once he is tested. But he blew thru the two top 20ish guys he fought so far.

Browne is exactly like Andre Ward, and if he gets selected by the corrupt boxing establishment to be the next big American star like Ward was, and is therefore given free reign to blatantly cheat against every opponent he faces, then I believe he can be just as "good" as Ward if not better, because that's what made Ward so "good," and Browne is just as athletic as Ward with more power, so as long as they let them blatantly cheat I think he can also be the next #1 P4P all time great!
Your analysis is exemplary, as usual. But i guess Krusher has learned the lesson with Ward, so maybe this time around he'll answer back if Browne plays dirty like SOJ did...
