Sergey Kovalev will fight another southpaw in his next fight, this time an unbeaten American Olympian. BoxingScene.com has learned that an agreement was reached Sunday for Kovalev to defend his WBO light heavyweight title against Marcus Browne. Their 12-round fight will be broadcast by HBO and will take place in The Theater at Madison Square Garden, the site of Kovalev's last two fights.

I like this fight with Marcus Browne a lot better than that Igor Mikhalkin fight, that's for sure.

I don't think very highly of Browne but this is the best opponent Kovalev has had since Ward.

Hmmm I honestly can't remember what I thought of Marcus Browne's previous fights. Will rewatch and reassess.

Seems like most people like this fight though
