I don't think that gets stopped in most places, but there is such a thing as a NY stoppage now, kinda like a UK stoppage, due to the Magomed situation.

If Verdejo was a bit of a bigger name maybe he gets slightly more leeway here idk, but then again with a KD + losing the rd big + still getting hit flush = not surprised if I'm being honest.

He should get a rematch in a less quick to stop a fight state/country next fight.
