I'm guessing Linares will cut up and the corner/doctor will pull him so he doesn't have to. Once Loma goes up the gears he's going to start connecting a lot and Linares has showed before he can start to cut up if he gets hit a lot (demarco), and demarco hits no harder than Loma.

Demarco was back in 2011, and while Linares has improved by then, the facial tissue doesn't toughen up over time, and Loma will connect more than demarco did.

And Linares hardly has goodnight power in his punches, and that's if he lands flush, its unlikely he'll land anything flush on Loma.

Agree. Loma never even showed to 100% what he is capable of because his opponents quit before the 8th round. From mid rounds on Loma wanted to completely frustrate his opponents and stop them by an 10 count or TKO.

Linares' record isn't all that great when you look at it... He has skills but is overrated. Loma by humiliation.

Yes thats Linares´s biggest payday in his career. He will never earn that money 1 Mio $ again in a fight and thats why he took that fight without hesitation.

I’m more excited about this fight than Canelo vs GGG. If Loma wins he is clearly the best boxer in the world. Hoping for Loma vs Mikey for September for Mexican independence weekend.

Mikey approached loma cause he wants the fight. As a matter of fact they both want the fight. It's lomas people that don't want it yet. Lomas peeps say it should be a ppv fight meaning they want to build up the fight.

It's lomas 12th fight but he has more experience than most fighters and he is in his prime at 30 years old

Linares is one of those dudes who’s natural style just looks effortless. But he properly understands and respects the art. He’s elite or at least not far off at all imo, but Loma has just improved so much since Salido that only a big, swarmer type fighter is gonna hand him an L.
