One google and I found an organic farm in Mexico.
It even states no steroids in the description... so if your country has a problem with steroids in animals, then it's your responsibility to be extra careful.

Canelo could easily pay extra for delivery.

I've never been a Canelo apologist. I thought he lost the last fight. But, the fact that people can't (or are unwilling to) make the obvious connection with a continual problem with Mexican meat just illustrates how ignorant and/or closed minded boxing fans are.
If it's a known issue then the sports biggest star should eat something else. Why flirt with destroying your reputation? I truly believe he is cheating.

And he just happened to eat it right before the test.

Why not stop all this guessing and just take a hair sample. At least that will give the results of what hes been upto for approx the last 3 months going on the length of his hair.
Maybe they should take a sample before ginger decides to have a haircut.

Want to bet if they tried to force Canelo to take a hair folicle test we'd be informed that he had his head shaved the day before and they used all the hair to ignite the wood stove to cook more mexican beef so it's not available. Just another coincidence

If what Bellew says is true...

That a fighter would have to eat 5 kilos of contaminated meat to have clenbuterol in your system then it is clear Alvarez is a cheat and should be disqualified. The fight should not take place but we know why it is. Too much money. The Povetkin-Wilder fight was cancelled. Why wouldn't this one be? Corruption. Erik Morales was suspended for 2 years when clenbuterol was found in his system. This stinks.

I figured he'd be on Mexican TV with their version of Oprah asking softball questions but so many people are asking whether Canelo has routinely eaten this meat for years and if so why only now tested positive, or if he suddenly started eating it for this fight and if so why. Why he didn't want testing for the Smith fight. I guess even an easy interview has to touch on those subjects and he just doesn't have his story straight yet.

Bellew says it would take eating 5KG of meat to get those results. That seems higher than what others have said. Does anyone know for sure? And that's what I mean, if Canelo says "I just ate one steak, one time, one ****** mistake etc." and then it's proven it must have been more than one steak then he's exposed as a liar. But if he says now that he ate a lot of meat then people are going to find that su****ious so he says nothing and lets his legal people, promoters, WBC etc. make his case for him while holding back his story/excuse as long as he can.
Just so you know how it is presented in blood.

this is from someone from this forum who made the search.

I googled and found some bodybuilder`s forum where dosage of clenbuterol is discussed. Here`s the excerpt:

"The****utic dose (20, 40 and 80 micrograms/man) of clenbuterol hydrochloride, a beta 2-adrenergic stimulant, was orally administered to healthy volunteers, and the unmetabolized drug in plasma and urine was determined by enzyme immunoassay. The plasma levels of clenbuterol reached the maximum value of 0.1, 0.2 and 0.35 ng/ml, respectively, in a dose-dependent manner within 2.5 h, which lasted for over 6 h after the administration. The half-life of clenbuterol in plasma was estimated to be about 35 h. When the drug was orally administered repeatedly to men twice a day, the plasma level reached the plateau within 4 d after the initial administration. At that time, the plasma levels of the unchanged form were 0.2 to 0.3 ng/ml and 0.5 to 0.6 ng/ml at doses of 20 and 40 micrograms/man, respectively. The bound ratio of the drug to plasma protein was estimated to be 89-98% at a single administration of 80 micrograms of the drug. The cumulative urinary excretion of unchanged compound corresponded to about 20% of the administered dose as measured at 72 h following a single oral administration. "

Seems like 0.6-0.8 ng/ml is quite a lot and consistent not with eating some meat, but with administering clenbuterol pills directly for a period of time.

and deliver the meat to all relatives and restaurants , etc.. no one does that.. if he eats at home all the time while being in mexico then is possible, but no one stays at home all the time, i can even show you a pic of him at a restaurant 10 days before testing positive... not saying he is innocent, im not the one judging, that will be nsac.. athletes in mexico at certain level take care of what they eat and most of them dont test positive, but there is always a small chance even if you only eat at fancy places or buy "inspected" meats... it happened before to many other athletes...
the only real solution i see is him not coming back to mexico...
