I thought even before he fought Lipinets. I spent a while hanging out with Robert Garcia at the fight hotel last night with a few people. I asked him about Mikey's future. He said he was not sure what his brother would do but that he thought Mikey and Loma would eventually fight. Meantime, his idea is for Mikey to go to 147 and try to fight Matthysse for his belt. He likes that match for his brother.

Im still not convinced by Mikeys whiskers, how many times has he been dropped? If lucas lands a bomb its all over. Mikey can outbox him but lucas WILL land over 12 rounds, he's a decent boxer not just a slugger.

This seems like a Mikey Garcia fight. Dude's a four division titlist, yet he's made one defense. Hasn't beaten anyone who was even top 30/40 pound for pound and now setting his sights on a paper belt against the weakest at 147.

I think he's the biggest cherry picker of recent years and it's not even close.
