"Hype job"(??!). How would it be a hype job if the fight eventually takes place with the fans knowing that a serious effort is/was being made to give the them what they want & need?!?!? It would definitely be a hype job if Team Hearn really had no intentions of getting this fight off the ground......and it seems that this IS the case!

Hearn has resorted to embecilic name calling of Wilders people, while Joshua feels he's doing his blokes a favor by refraining to hype a potential HEAVYWEIGHT BLOCKBUSTER because he's "just not into the hype"(?!?!). I guess "Shirley Winkel" is a more appropriate use of "hype" that AJ approves of, while his boss Hearn ironically tries his VERY BEST to schedule a beat down of the self absorbed humpback whale in Brooklyn.......Team Hearn is a puppet master who is runnin' till Wilder ages out or loses!!

He hasnt changed his stance for any of his fights, any of his buildups. He doesnt get involved with that stuff unless its genuine.

The only time he changed that tune was the Whyte fight, which had genuine needle. And even then it was pretty minimal from AJs side.

If the fights gonna happen itll be because of negotiations behind closed doors, not media soundbites, press conference call outs or in ring confrontations.

Everyone needs to realise this.

In boxing...big fights get made. When they don't...one side doesn't want it. Negotiations don't take months, especially when you're talking about the amount of money a Joshua Wilder fight makes.

It's seems that he knows that Hearn wants to wait and doesn't want the additional pressure a face off would cause. Either he or Hearn isn't confident he beats Wilder. Accordingly they wanna make sure revenue is absolutely maxed.

everybody loves that wwe bs whether they want to admit it or not....it builds and helps sell

and they pulled that BS with canelo/golovkin and people ate it up and the fight did well

the hype around that fight came from the media constantly talking about how it needed to happen.....if it werent for that im sure golden boy could have cared less about fighting golovkin
