Unless it's Hearn vs Winkel on the undercard i don't care about this 'sub plot'. Just make the damn fight

Great stuff! Eddie is right to the point. DiBella is really only Al Haymon’s event organizer and Finkel is one of 10 managers Wilder has signed with.

I watched this video in full earlier today.

Hearn makes it pretty clear that he wants the Wilder fight. He talks about it repeatedly and has done for some time.

I don't really understand all the comments I read on these pages about Hearn not wanting to fight Wilder. I understand the argument in theory ("Hearn is making so much money off Joshua now, he's scared that Wilder will beat and derail him"). But it doesn't really chime with what Hearn and Joshua have actually said, apart from a few months ago when Joshua talked about "maybe we won't fight until 2020"

The only thing that really made me worry that the fight wouldn't happen was when Wilder seemed intent on 50/50 because the language he used made it sound like he was totally adamant and would not move from there. Now that it is clear that that was just negotiating, I see this fight happening very soon, probably this year.

Hearn isn't a dumbass, he knows that if he talks as if he's going to make the fight (as he is doing now) and belittles Lou Dibella and 'Shirley Winkle' only to duck Wilder later he's going to make himself and Joshua look like idiots and cowards.

It's funny I knew who Shelly Finkel and Lou DiBella were long before Hearn... How is he raising their profile?

Just shows how inferior US promoters have become.
Wilder is backed by Haymon and Showtime,
yet they can't make any counter offer.
              They're at Hearn's mercy.
They're begging and crying for attention.

Dibella was head of HBO boxing during their glory years. Finkel has been around forever. He's forgot more about the boxing business than Hearn knows.

Come on bruh lol this is what I mean about the super high standards and expectations people set for Joshua. Wilder was allowed to milk his belt facing stiffs and pad his record up to 45 - 0( or whatever it is) But now all of a sudden AJ "has to do the right thing" **** that biased rhetoric. Just cos wilder fought his first top tier opponent in his career a few weeks ago suddenly it's all "come on Joshua..it's time" Takam is more credible than all of Wilders opponents other than ortiz imo, yet AJ has less than half the number of fights. Joshua is not obligated to do **** based on pressure from Wilders team and fans. He can fight wilder when he wants and what are you people gonna say? AJ is a coward and ducking? Don't know how you can say that with a straight face when you look at Wilders pathetic record in comparison to AJ's. AJ has more credibility than wilder. He's proven that he dares to be great more than wilder. He's about to have a second unification fight compared to Wilders zero unifications. Its a joke . I really would love to see this fight of course but I'm in no rush because after these titans clash the HW division is guna be a bit boring for a while I reckon. And for the record I really see the fight as a pick em and I love Wilders style and power and persona and he's more interesting than AJ tbh but I just say it how I see it.

Hearn's lying ass seems to be the only one kicking and screaming...mad he got called out on his bs.

As long as the fight gets made, I couldn't care less.

Your forgetting Wilder has ALREADY signed to fight Pedetkin and Ortiz before. And Takem is not even top ten either as were most of Wilders but Stiverne was 1st time. And really none of that matters they both the top 2 there is no agreement for waiting. Its in the best interest of the sport. And also Joshua bought his 1st title(no probs Wilders would have done same if he had money behind)and has had a few gimmies and ONE tough one though it was a big money fight with a 41yr old who had not fought in 2yrs.But really we can just agree to disagree because I'm kinda tired of this aspect of this fight.
