I watched this video in full earlier today.

Hearn makes it pretty clear that he wants the Wilder fight. He talks about it repeatedly and has done for some time.

I don't really understand all the comments I read on these pages about Hearn not wanting to fight Wilder. I understand the argument in theory ("Hearn is making so much money off Joshua now, he's scared that Wilder will beat and derail him"). But it doesn't really chime with what Hearn and Joshua have actually said, apart from a few months ago when Joshua talked about "maybe we won't fight until 2020"

The only thing that really made me worry that the fight wouldn't happen was when Wilder seemed intent on 50/50 because the language he used made it sound like he was totally adamant and would not move from there. Now that it is clear that that was just negotiating, I see this fight happening very soon, probably this year.

Hearn isn't a dumbass, he knows that if he talks as if he's going to make the fight (as he is doing now) and belittles Lou Dibella and 'Shirley Winkle' only to duck Wilder later he's going to make himself and Joshua look like idiots and cowards.

They made false accusations for 2 years now ,the reality is they MILKED Wilder bc they werent confidant in him or unwilling to risk a big fight ,unless they had too. This is a quote directly after Joshua defeated Breazeale .

To be fair, whether you like Hearn or not, he is making a fool of these guys safe in the knowledge that he is the A-side. Hearn is unifying the other belt while Wilder has done 0 in 3 years. Joshua will go into the Wilder fight this year after fighting Klitschko, Takam (should have been Pulev) and Parker........ compare that to Wilder's CV lol

I used to be critical of Joshua, but there's no doubt that one man has made an effort to get Fury's old belts and unify while the other has talked a good game.

If it wasn't for Joshua and Hearn, Wilder fans would have nothing, they'd be offering 1 million dollars to Parker to come over to America and unify lol
