The notion that Loma is cherry picking Linares who is the lineal, ring, wba and (real) wbc champ in addition to being the clear #1 at the weight division above is too dumb to comprehend. Stop trying to reason with him. This is the guy that nitpicked every win of a fighter that's not a fighter he lusts. I remember him defending Mayweather-Judah and othr Mayweather mismatches (when there were far better and bigger fights available) but ****ting on Pacquaio-Morales, Barrera I, Marquez I & II etc; Morales because he came off a loss and Loma-Walters because of a layoff but 38 year old 16 months off Mosley was cool as was 41 year old 16 months off Wlad (for Joshua).

Pacquaio would have been a cherry pick as it's "coming off a loss" which he disqualifies if he doesn't like said fighter. Garcia would be a cherry pick because he's not fought at 135 in over a year and would be drained and the #1 is Linares.

Pacquaio would be coming down in weight AND coming off a loss and a layoff. Three things I've seen him slam when fighters he doesn't like face them yet now he wanted Loma to drain a guy, coming off a loss and a layoff? Pacquaio's also close to 40, so that would be 4 things he's slam.

Do you have any quotes, because I don't remember him agreeing to weight cut, even Loma didn't know the possible weight. Who knows what Pacquaio wanted, what his desired weight limit was. It still could have been 2.5 divs - that's too much.
