It's a good fight since we can't get the Mikey fight now...But Loma will make easy work of Linares. I predict a TKO. Linares has speed but Loma is faster and has the pedigree to boot. Linares doesn't have big power to keep Loma honest. Loma steamrolls through him in the later rounds.

I really hope Loma doesn't stay at 135 long and is able to fill out at 140 for some bigger challenges.

The actual fight will answer that for you. Levels to this. I'd much rather see Mikey vs Loma, a fight where neither is guaranteed to win. Top flight fight.

Loma-Mikey is def a much more competitive fight. Mikey has power too and great technique (even if he's not on Loma's level he's still more polished than Linares)

I feel like we won't get that fight this year though.

I think if linares is at his best it'll be a great fight. He's gotta not let lomachenko frustrate him with that constant pawing "jab" that loma seems to almost just leave out there to be in the way. And the movement. It really seems like lomachenkos goal isn't to really land a lot of "heavy" shots but more just express than he can land with a certain degree of consistency and not get hit back. Kinda puts the other fighters on tilt. Its demoralizing. Then the rain comes....

Won't be a walk in the park for anyone. I think lomachenko wins if he can keep his own **** out of his own mouth. Good fight, can't wait to see it.

lomachenko mikey garcia? i dunno if that'll ever happen, they are just moving away from each other too quickly. That would be fun tho. Like the garcia crawford talk? i mean WHEN!? All this weight class bouncing around makes that a frustrating endevour at the least.

Crawford's fight just got postponed it looks like.
He isn't getting Spence nor Thurman this year. Who is Terence going to fight this year? Horn and Alvarado? Matthysse? 147 isn't as deep as some think. Danny Garcia will probably be fed to Spence late this year, if not early next. Porter will probably fight Thurman late this year or early next year. Maybe they'll give Crawford the winner of Vargas-Broner, but why do that when that's a great opponent for Spence for late this year/early next?
Thurman won't be looked at the same by next year, some people already don't look at him the same.
Thurman is overrated anyways IMO.

Arum and Haymon may work together, but the problem is that Haymon has a Welterweight himself that is creating huge buzz right now, so why not give him the big names first to let him shine more? Then maybe Crawford can get his leftovers.

Lomachenko can unify 135 then move up to 140. By that time, guys like Josh Taylor and Jose Ramirez will be very good opponents. Ramirez can already draw more than most Welterweights. Taylor is from the UK so he has will have a loyal following.

If Bob can get Loma Linares, and Bob got Crawford fights with Molina and Diaz, then Bob can get Crawford fights with DSG, Thurman, and Spence Jr.! If he doesn't, then I think we'll see Crawford follow Mikey, Gamboa, Cotto, Mayweather, and Oscar! Manny is already challenging the Top Rank "infinite" contracts, and i'm sure TC is watching! TC probably salty that he never got a shot at Pacquiao @ 140, yet Arum and Manny want Loma @ 140!

I wouldn't be shocked if Arum and Haymon do start making fights, but if you are Haymon why give Crawford Danny Garcia, Shawn Porter, and Keith Thurman before letting Spence fight them?
Spence is in need of names as well and he hasn't fought any of those guys. Spence will probably get them first then they may let Crawford have them afterwards.
If you want to build up Spence he needs to add guys like Danny Garcia, Shawn Porter, and Keith Thurman to his resume.
Even if Crawford tried to leave Top Rank there is no guarantee he will fight those guys right away. Spence is having a hard time getting them. These Welterweights have huge egos. They think they're better and more popular than they really are.

Yeah, but those aren't same scenarios. Again, you're not understanding what I'm saying. I think Arum and Haymon could work together, but why would Haymon give Crawford fighters like Danny Garcia, Shawn Porter, and Keith Thurman before giving it to his own fighter he is trying to build in Spence?

I don't see Spence vs. Crawford happening this year.
Spence will fight in June then he'll probably end up with Danny Garcia to end the year. But we will see.
