I understand what Mikey is going through. He is undefeated, never been dropped and never really came close to losing. He has dominated every opponent with skill and technique, and he has power too, so of course he feels invincible right now.

That aura can take you a long way and help you achieve things that people feel should be impossible, however.....I think Spence is a little, no, way too much right now. Garcia should at least try to acclimate to the weight over three or four fights before taking on a monster like Spence.

Marquez did what he's tryna do when he took on Mayweather. Mayweather was coming off a two year lay off, had brittle hands, and didn't pack that much power nor was he the type of fighter that bullies people in the ring. He was also a very small welterweight but look what happened to Marquez, and Garcia want to take on a fresh, young monster like Spence?

Nah yaw, that's crazy, he doesn't stand a chance, talented as he is.

i dont even think its that. mikey has no intention of fighting spence. mikey and robert both has stated before that going forward they want to maximize on profit as much as they can. they want as much money as they can get.

what mikey is doing is throwing the top names out there to try and trick the public into thinking he's gonna fight them. so in return the public is gonna be watching mikey closely since they think mikey is gonna fight those other guys next.

but the truth is, mikey is not fighting any of those guys, instead he just wants to stay relevant to try and benefit as much from it. people will be paying for his next fight because now they're interested since he called out spence so they're thinking he's gonna fight spence in the future.

It's a plausible theory I admit. Could be.

Not to mention in another era, Spence would be a middleweight. And Mikey is at his best at lightweight. Spence is a big puncher as a welterweight. To a lightweight, he’s a murderous puncher.

Biggest name dropper in the sport. I want to fight Spence, Thurman, Manny, Gamboa, Linares, Lomachenko etc etc yet always ends up fighting somebody weak and made for his style.

38-0, 4 weight world champion or something ridiculous and your best win by a mile is Adrien Broner? Jesus. Everything that is wrong with boxing currently.

You have no intentions of fighting Spence lets be honest.

He's been dropped a bag of times.
Burgos dropped him, Rocky Martinez dropped him, pretty sure he's been dropped by others too.
