I really don't see how Parker finishes AJ inside d distance, Not sure Parker has Klitschkos power and when AJ changes gear, can Parker manage still stand? Time will tell

It doesn't really matter if hes got more or less power than Klitschko or Joshua himself (definitely less) or any other fighter, The question that actually matters, is his power enough to KO Joshua if he lands a bomb, flush. And the answer is of corse, won't be easy at all to do it, and also doesn't mean it will actually happen. Doesn't exactly take massive amounts of power to KO someone if it's perfectly placed and perfectly timed right on the chin especially if they happen to be moving into as well. Does Parker have enough power to do that ? Definitely. Does he have the skills or get lucky enough to actually land it ? will he survive long enough to even get the chance to land big when Joshua ends up gassed at some point ? Not so sure of those.Comment

Just because Klitschko, one of the hardest heavyweight hitters of the past decade was able to drop Joshua, doesn't mean every single tom and jerry can do so as well.
Joshua wipes the floor with this pretender, and afterward lets set up the real showdown between AJ and Wilder.Comment

Shame he couldn't KO Razvan Cojanu..whilist being allowed to be on the constant offence more than he will be against Joshua.
The whole glass jaw thing is just overblown at this point he got knocked down ONCE for pity's sake and no I don't give a toss about sparring stories whether it's about Joshua Wilder or anyone else as I consider it irrelevant...especially when it comes to Heavyweights.
Its very difficult to KO someone who doesnt want to be KO'd regardless of how bad their chin is, just look at Malik Scott V Ortiz, Scott has the worst chin in the divsision, yet he went the distance.
For the record Parker has more one punch KO's than AJ. not saying he has more power but the fact still remains..Comment

Been reading a lot on here recently and get so sick of the one eyed fan boys and the like that I decided to make my first ever comment on here. Being from NZ naturally I'm supporting JP, But realistically Joshua definitely deserves the favorite tag. He's the Hometown boy, has the better recent performances, is bigger, stronger and has faced and handled the big stage multiple times where JP hasn't. But to say JP will get blasted out or has no chance is just being blind. Getting KO'd early is always a possibility in the HW game and doesn't always mean you're no good just that you got caught. IMO JP has got a decent enough chance, but likely needs everything to fall into place and be at his absolute best with a little luck or a Joshua mistake to get it done. JP is more of an unknown quantity at the moment, takam was his first real step up, and like Ruiz short and stocky, it appears JP struggles with those fighters more so than taller guys. Cojanu was a long time sparring partner and knew all his tells, hughie is quick and only wanted to dance and tap and hope to steal a home town decision. Nothing there to say Parker's a good shot, also nothing to say he's not. Styles make fights. Could be the perfect style for him, or maybe it's not. If you watch any training footage of JP hitting bags/mits etc. Yes there's no punches coming back and means nothing in the ring, BUT, hypothetically, if he landed one of those power punches from the training vids, right on the chin, Joshua doesn't see it coming, of corse he can KO him, doesn't matter how tough you are, right punch right spot right timing your lights can go outComment

Cojanu had zero intention of engaging or even attempting to win the fight, going the distance was a victory for him. Hughie fury also had no intention of engaging and ran the entire fight.

What fight suggests he has more 1 punch K.O power than Joshua ? Certainly not the kidney shot of a downed Dimentrenko i hope ?
Where did you get this fact bc Parker is basically an ARM puncher compared to Joshua ?Last edited by juggernaut666; 03-13-2018, 09:49 PM.Comment

I've said this before, but too many people are focussing on whether Parker has the one punch powder to stop Joshua. IF he were to stop him I think he'll do it through a combination of Joshua fatiguing and a good punch by Parker. the best and most well known example of this was Foreman getting KO'ed by Ali, it really wasn't Ali's power that did it, Big George just didn't have any gas left in the tank. The strategy for Parker must surely be to start at a very fast clip and force AJ to fight at a very fast pace.
There is a reason that AJ is dropping all that extra muscle (which could well produce some interesting side effects in itself) and that is because his team recognize that stamina can be issue. Provided Parker doesn't take too many big shots himself he could find AJ winded by the mid-rounds and susceptible to a decent flurry that takes him down. There are alot of things that would have to go wrong for Joshua and right for Parker for that to happen, but if Parker is to pull the upset KO this is how I see it playing out.Comment

Yet has only ONE stoppage after the mid rounds ? If Parker had more one punch power he would have knocked down Takam...Joshua battered him with a fraction of punches landed and he wasnt even trying to get the knock out after rnd 4 until he applied pressure in the 10th .
