I just have to ask... are people who have golovkin near the top basing it on skill or resume or what? Because, clearly he's out skilled by lomachenco, Canelo, Spence, Crawford, etc.. and, who has he beaten? Danny? He barely beat him... and the canelo fight, like it or not, was a draw. He has no super high boxing IQ, and he hardly landed a clean punch on Canelo, where Canelo landed many cleaner, better, shots on him. Gaylovekin @ #3 p4p LMAO!
Who is currently the best fighter in the world?

Probably Golovkin, Mayweather, or Ward although two of them are retired. If not perhaps Lomachenko or Crawford has taken up the mantle.Last edited by SAINTSTEVE; 03-17-2018, 06:10 PM.Comment

I notice a lot of comments about talent and how fighter B is more talented than fighter A etc. Talent is only one factor in determining who is the best overall fighter. Chin, smarts, power, will to win. Those things are all just as important maybe more so. Look at Marciano. He beat a lot of fighters that were supposed to be more talented than him. He kept himself in great shape, hit like a mule and just did not give up or give his opponent time to breath. Joe Frazier is another example. Tommy Morrison was the opposite. Great puncher hit hard good combinations but he had poor stamina and a weak chin. Let's see if guys like Loma, Spence and Crawford can handle adversity before anointing them #1 P4P.Comment
