Look for Valdez to get knocked out in his next couple fights.

    Im off the bandwagon.

I lose interest when a young fighter stops growing. I thought he was exciting at first but what always stood out to me was his wide punches and him fighting in one gear. Given his age and experience I expected him to evolve after every fight but i havent seen much since then. His attack sequence is always the same and predictable, im actually bored now.

Call me picky but Im not into fighters who cant straighten out their punches. He loops when he should be throwing straight down the pipe.

Valdez is fighting off youthful energy but he’ll get wrecked again.

Hearn revealed that Quigg always weighs 140. Translation. Win if you can, lose if you must, but always cheat.

weird....i was a big fan of his since i saw him merk Gradovich with a left hook from hell a few years ago, im an even bigger fan after last night, hes probably now my favorite fighter...considering the heart he showed fighting with a broken jaw against a guy that massively outweighed him...He's literally never in a boring fight...enjoy him while he lasts i say..

One punch of Quigg caused more damage than 5 punches of Valdez because the difference in weight.
Calm down man, Christ, your guy won and put in a good performance.

GREAT POINTS could not agree more he throws every punch with same intensity and defence is bad.And your right he loops the right hand although that was a plus with Quigg because of the way he holds his hands.Dont see him beating any top 3-5 guy in that div.Selby with his boxing skills would beat him 12-0 unless he got lucky because he does have good power. Also a GREAT heart but he will be beat once he steps up past a Quigg type guy.

It was Valdez’ predictable combinations that did him in.

Quigg got his timing down and once he did that, punches started landing easily.
I do think extra weight helped him take punches Vadez can punch some. And he hurt Quigg about 4 times twice to body and at least once to head.Commentaters missed them all I think lol.But he is predictable and don't see him being successful at any higher then this level(mid-bottom top 10)

You would think Quigg won with a few comments on here. He lost even after having a weight advantage, Valdez could have said no fight. He fought on for 7 more rounds with a broken jaw.
