Why does Mikey get so much respect yet he hasn't fought anyone great?

Yup, Mikey strikes me as a guy who is afraid of his own success. Arum was trying to build Mikey as his next superstar and he went AWOL.Comment

How is Mikey Legit when he has never showed any intention on fighting the other top dogs in his division? Those fundamentals could go so far until it is tested against real competition to which Mikey never showed interest in. Hell, the dude wont even fight Easter Jr. who said that he would agree to everything Mike would demand.Comment

The best name in his resume is Salido. IGNORANT.Seriously, we criticize guys like Crawford for not having names but we give guys like Mikey a pass. You have guys putting Mikey above fighters like Keith, Spence, GGG...etc but those guys have much better resumes. The best name on his resume is Broner and that doesn't say much. I'm starting to think that Mikey is a little overrated. He calls out top guys but never fight them. What gives?
Salido had a way better career than that shi.t named BronerComment

I was on the Mikey train until the Broner fight was announced. That just seemed odd to me as Broner looked awful against Granados and should have lost. Then the cherry on top was Lipinets, who looked awful against that Japanese Journeyman.
I then saw it as a guy who is purposely picking easy fights for money grabs.Comment
