          Good stoppage.

Jack Reiss is a great ref.

That's a great fight. Vargas is so damn tall but I'm not sold on his chin. And if azat catches him with something big it will be very interesting.

Azat looked great tonight I think he'd give Vargas a way better fight than Ronny did.

HBO needs to make that one.

COSTA MESA, CALIF.- Explosive Armenian contender Azat "Crazy" Hovhannisyan (14-2, 11 KOs) defended his WBC Continental Americas Super Bantamweight Title in exciting fashion as he defeated hometown hero Ronny Rios (29-3, 13 KOs) via sixth-round technical knockout in the main event of the March 9 edition of Golden Boy Boxing on ESPN before a sold-out crowd at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, Calif.

I watched this fight on ESPN 3, had no clue what time or channel it was on. Fumbling through, I found it halfway into the female fight. I was fortunate enough to see the main event. Rios seems like a decent fighter with decent skills (I've probably seen him fight 4-5 times) but he hasn't progressed. Gets him with the same punches and doesn't have enough power to be a game changer. The Armenian fighter caught him time and again and had the power to change the complexion of the fight. I thought the stoppage could have come much earlier. If ESPN wants anyone to watch their boxing, they need to do a much better job ofettong people know how and when to watch it.
