Joshua was almost knocked out by a 41 year old man, 2 fights ago, and Wilder was out on his feet against a different 40 year old in his last fight.

They can't afford to wait any longer. If they're going to get that money, they have to move now, before someone exposes either guy.

AJs probably wants to make it happen

If it was up to Hearn he’d wait another year or so

Probably not a year, but I'm sure Hearn would like one more fight for both of them to maximise the income when they meet each other.

AJ though is probably sick of hearing Wilder saying he's scared and ducking, etc, and just wants to shut Deontay's mouth.

For sure AJs a elite level fighter and even though he plays the part with PR always acting like a gentleman I’m sure Wilder constantly bumping the gums makes him want to beat the sh.it out of him

That’s why I said if it happens next it’s AJ pushing for the fight

Hearns a clown and wants as much $ in his pocket as possible before they fight ( understandable ). I actually hope AJ leaves Hearn because I don’t think he really needs him

I still think Joshua fights in America before he fights wilder. It’s in both camps interest to do that as sales should be able to be increased significantly by building his name there first

This fight has been built up more from AJ side than Wilder side, sky sports have been showcasing Wilder, inviting to these shores, interviewing him etc and making him the biggest threat to Joshua. They are about making money and no one makes them that kind of money now apart from Joshua. Hearn himself knows this so am definitely expecting that fight to happen this year. I really don’t think it happens next doe.

AJ and Wilder both have so many flaws.

I can't see Wilder getting better after 40 fights in terms of skills but he's done very well with what he has.

It will be an exciting fight because both can be hit and both have power.

I think there is more gamble in pushing that fight out than gain.

How many sales are they gaining if Wilder loses to Breazeale or Joshua loses to Big Baby? The fight is gone if either of those things happen.

And okay Wilder beats Breazeale & Joshua beats Big Baby in the US. How much bigger is the fight then? I say not bigger enough vs the risk you are taking on.
