Regarding the Roy-DM saga, you know that the 'double header' was a proposal that was faxed across, as Kohl was ignoring HBO's calls.

No specifics of that were ever discussed.

It was flatly refused, no questions asked.


Let's be realistic here:

Universum and HBO are 2 HUGE companies. A fight between Roy and Dariusz would have generated huge revenue. So let's give both companies some credit. If they'd have sat down together and agreed for Dariusz to have fought on the same bill as Roy in the U.S. then of course there'd have been an agreement for them to have met afterwards. Kohl would never have let Dariusz go anywhere near an airport without a contract in front of him that agreed a fight afterwards. But again, they never got the opportunity to sit down, because Kohl didn't want any part of it. He just wanted Dariusz to keep milking his WBO belt, in the way that Frank Warren did with Joe Calzaghe.
