you're making claim that floyd, purely a boxer, will be successfu in mma.

what do you think a karate class consist of?

just punching, blocking, kicking and yelling?

those are called mcdojos and are completely different than a real martial arts school

            boxing, more rounds.

what im saying is that in mma, you have to worry about getting taken down, you have to wrestle and avoid getting taken down.

you have to worry about kicks coming your way, you have to worry about dodging away from those kicks.

mma also have a lot of grappling and wrestling. these things take a lot out of you! you have to use a lot of energy especially if you were never used to this.

              LOL right.

Its gonna be great reading in 10 or 20 years when the books about Floyd's career with more hindsight get released about all this sh^t that made Floyd who he became.

                boxing IS a martial art

and if boxing had titles like karate/etc he would be at the grandmaster levels
He will be slick and tough to hit but his grappling and ground game are non existent and he can hurt his hands with those little gloves

If they aren't going to fight under typical UFC/MMA rules, then why bother? If they agree to eliminate kicking for example, or knees and elbows, then it isn't a true MMA fight. Of course there are no shortage of casual Kardashian-watchers who will eat that shyt up regardless.

machida, gsp, has karate background as their main skills BUT they transition into mma before getting into the ufc. that's how they were successful.

if they would have jumped right into the ufc with just a karate background then they wouldnt be successful.

this is what im trying to explain to you since you said floyd will do well in mma with just a boxing background.
