Old man Ortiz almost had you out on your feet man, old man rusty Ortiz. Joshua is just as tall, younger, stronger, has just as much reach and fresh. Good luck to you though, I think you are gonna need it.

Fans talk about Joshua not being able to avoid Wilder's power punches all 12 rounds. Which could be true, but why act like Joshua won't be firing bombs as well? And from what I've seen, Joshua punches even harder than Ortiz. Any fan who thinks this won't be a 50/50 fight is just fooling themselves. Joshua isn't delusional about him being the greatest ever. Wilder is. And that narcissistic b.s. does a fighter absolutely zero good in the long run. Wilder just needs to drop this victory lap blabbering. Enough is enough, man. STFU and get to work on your next fight. SMDH

ORTIZ was a tough seasoned southpaw that WILDER spotted over 30lbs and knocked out!! Thats pretty damn impressive so lets just bring on the super fight with JOSHUA because HW boxing could sure use it!!

To the people who are picking AJ to win this fight, I just can't see it. How? How is it evenly humanly possible? Wilder knows only one way to fight and that's to hit. That's why the fight hasn't happen by now because Joshua won't win; Even his own handlers are confident of that.

How is Joshua is going to evade those punches? He's heavy, has slow feet, tires easily, lacks upper body movement. It's not like he is some scientific boxer/puncher like Luis Ortiz with an extensive amateur pedigree.

Then again, I can be wrong and maybe he can win. However, right now judging by all the tangible evidence, it all seems to favor Deontay Wilder.

This a very bad style match up for Anthony Joshua.

Wilder has the right weapon to use in him. That straight right is A.J.'s kryptonite.

Wilder just isn't very good and has basically no skill. He looked poor against a fighter who had been rusty as hell and was old as hell a couple of days ago. Ortiz poor stamina bailed him out as much as his power.

I think Joshua should be able to land first and if he's smart with his follow up which I expect he will he'll finish Wilder.

I'm not sold fully sold on Joshua but he has some sold skill and looks like he's improving. I'll never be sold on Wilder. I doubt he'll get any more powerful and his punch resistance won't stop better neither will his skill set.

Wilder OBVIOUSLY aint never been to the pen lol. His metaphor was garbage.

Its STILL a 50/50 fight, AJ with better intangibles, Wilder with better power. May the best man win...

If Wilder KO'd Joshua would that place him on consensus top 3 p4p?

But he is undefeated with over 40 victories and has knocked out every opponent who has ever stepped in the ring with him. The Ortiz who faced Wilder a few days ago would have knocked Anthony Joshua out. He was the most dangerous and feared contender in the heavyweight division for years. That's why Eddie Hearn and Team Joshua wisely chose to avoid him because of the risk he posed.
