Hopefully Canelo stops using now. So he should be more clean by fight time in May. The benefits of the clenbuturol may have diminished considerably. Hopefully the fight can happen.

I'd be interested to go back and see when drug use became so prevalent. I suspected something was fishy with Jones, Pazienza, Gatti and Hopkins but didn't pay much attention.

I think the fighters that are cutting weight and then piling on a lot overnight look very suspect.
Clenbuterol has been around longer than 10 years.

Yes. Let's skip out on a $20 million dollar fight to go back to fighting on regular hbo for a $1 million dollars. Genius idea GGG.

Of course but it's only been an issue in Mexico with the cattle in the last 10 years. If Mexican's 10-15 were suspect of clen then fighters from everywhere else were too.

Would Canelo still fight if GGG would have been popped? That's a good question. On the real, there is no way that this fight doesn't happen with the amount of money involved. I would be disappointed if GGG walks away. I just can't see Canelo intentionally doing this, especially since he thinks he won the first fight. He finished strong, why risk it?

I think there's too much money at stake for GGG to walk away. Thee same with the powers that be that want to turn their head the other way.

However, I wouldn't blame any fighter who didn't want to fight someone who appeared to be 'dirty'.
Maybe it may take something like that to get the sport to act more accordingly in similar situations.

GGG should be allowed PEDs to even it out and fair playing field
